Extra Credit Poem:  The Untold Story of Humpty Dumpty:  a short continuation of an even shorter nursery rhyme

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall;
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the King's horses and all the King's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.

The men said, "Forget it,"
And they all went away,
Leaving Humpty to lie there,
Day after day.

Shortly after the egg finished dying,
On the sidewalk his remains started frying.
Slowly but surely he continued to roast;
He would have looked good on a plate, next to toast.

The homeless who found him held a great feast
Where everyone laughed and enjoyed the deceased.
The story's moral is evident to all:
Always take care when you sit on a wall.
